Tomek Kuncewicz - Director He leads the team at the Jewish Museum in Oświęcim, serves as the director of the Auschwitz Jewish Center Foundation in Poland, and conducts workshops and lectures. An ornithologist, gardener, and naturalist by passion.
An English philologist (Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań) and Judaic scholar (Brandeis University, USA), and anti-discrimination trainer (Academy of Anti-Discrimination Training). Recipient of the Irena Sendler Award and the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising Medal for preserving Polish-Jewish heritage and opposing all forms of hatred.
Aleksandra Kuncewicz - Administration and Finance
Oversees financial and personnel matters. Loves dogs and other animals.
Graduate of the Marketing and Management Faculty at the University of Economics in Poznań.
Dr Artur Szyndler - Curator Manages the collection of the Jewish Museum in Oświęcim, conducts archival and historical research, and museum workshops. Co-leads cultural projects. Prefers spending his free time at concerts.
A doctor of religious studies (Jagiellonian University), author of academic articles (including Yad Vashem Studies) and publications for the Jewish Museum (including Oszpicin. The History of Jewish Oświęcim).
Karolina Turza - Educator Develops and conducts programs and workshops for youth and adults, including the Anti-Discrimination Education Academy. Co-leads cultural projects. Enjoys all kinds of mountains.
A Polish philologist (University of Bielsko-Biała), graduate of the Anti-Discrimination Education Academy and the Applied Drama School of the STOP-KLATKA Drama Practitioners Association, former collaborator of the Warsaw Center for Educational and Social Innovation and Training.
Maciek Zabierowski - Head of Education Department Develops and conducts educational programs for adults: U.S. Army cadets, police officers, and teachers. Interested in technological innovations in and out of education.
Educated as a historian (Jagiellonian University) and a graduate of the Anti-Discrimination Training Academy, former representative of the International School of Holocaust Studies at the Yad Vashem Institute in Poland, and former collaborator of the AGH University of Science and Technology e-Learning Center in Kraków.
Kamil Gut - Educator and Barista Responsible for guiding tours in the Museum and the city, conducting educational workshops, and study trips. Also serves as the Head Barista at the Foundation's café, ensuring the quality and taste of coffee. Interested in music (plays guitar, piano, and sings), technological innovations (mainly AI and its implementation in education), and foreign languages.
Educated in linguistics and English philology (University of Silesia in Katowice) and a graduate of the Anti-Discrimination Education Academy.
Anastazja Moroz - Educator and Barista She works as a barista in a café and at a museum, where she conducts educational workshops and guided tours for visiting groups. She is responsible for supporting volunteers, drawing on her own experience as a volunteer at the Auschwitz Jewish Center Foundation (AJCF). She participates in the PATH program (Preparing Ambassadors Teaching about the Holocaust). Her passion lies in U.S. history and 20th-century history. She loves working with people, finding inspiration in these interactions.
Hila Weisz-Gut - Program Coordinator for Israel Tour guide in a museum and the city, providing tours in Hebrew.
Originally from Israel, with interests in history (particularly World War II and Middle Eastern relations) and research.
Education: B.A. in Education (specializing in Language and Mathematics Literacy) and M.A. in the Weiss-Livnat International M.A. Program in Holocaust Studies (University of Haifa, Israel)
