Conclusion of PATH 2025 Preparing Ambassadors to Teach about the Holocaust Program

The 2025 edition of the PATH – Preparing Ambassadors to Teach about the Holocaust program has come to an end. The initiative equips young people with knowledge and skills to responsibly share the history of the Holocaust and to promote values of respect and dialogue. The Polish youth delegation included 10 participants, who took part in workshops, meetings, and activities designed to broaden their understanding and strengthen their leadership.
The highlight of the program was an educational journey to Germany (July 26 – August 3, 2025). Participants visited Munich, Dachau, Nuremberg, Weimar, Buchenwald, and Berlin, engaging with 20th-century history through museums, memorial sites, and educational sessions. Special focus was placed on the theme of perpetrator accountability and on memorials dedicated to various groups persecuted by the Nazi regime.
Through guided tours, workshops, and group discussions, participants not only deepened their historical knowledge but also reflected on the relevance of this difficult past for the present. The trip also strengthened group bonds and fostered mutual trust.
The project was organized by Austrian Service Abroad in cooperation with Bnei Akiva Germany and the Jewish Museum in Oświęcim. We proudly close the 2025 edition, thanking all participants for their dedication and for exploring history together as an inspiration for building a future free from hatred.
